Part of the conflicts I have come across for the past 2years are tied to my professional life. A few months ago I took a leap of faith and left the higher education world. I began looking for a place in training and development and took a job at Amazon. Little did I know what I needed wasn’t there. I did not feel the challenges presented were the ones I needed to grow. How crazy is that? I thought I was losing my mind for leaving a solid state job only to realize I did not like my new job with the biggest company in the world.
After 6 months with Amazon I started looking again for a place where the purpose was to help people grow instead of growing the security of an IT giant. I switched completely. I found Human Synergistics.
